It has been a long time coming. Seiichi sits close by, watching Kana as she nears the location of the shooting once again. She's much older now, more mature but still as beautiful as the day he met her all those years ago. He's watched her grow round with two children, one time she even came with her two children to lay flowers for him. She has never missed a year like he has never missed a year. It was the one thing he could do to protect her. Come back and make sure nobody touches her and protect her dossier with his soul.
It's taxing though. It weighs down on him each time she appears and he notices that she has made another year of memories with someone else. Knowing that he's working towards her soul being reincarnated with everything he could give her but not being able to follow her when it was time. He's been doing this for so long now he doesn't know what his debt to hell is. Or if there was a maximum cap on what that debt could be.
At this point he isn't sure whether he's still doing this out of love or if it was just something ingrained so deeply into him now that he just doesn't know another way of survival. This time, however, when he watches her lay those flowers with that sad expression on his face he can feel that rage building within him. This is the year he'll show himself to her. Tell her exactly how he feels. Show her exactly all he's done for her. Show her what he's endured and just how angry it was that all she does is lay flowers for him. What else has she done? Gone and raised a family. Moved on without him.
He takes a slow, shuddering breath as he picks himself up off the ground to go and finally confront her.
